“Deer Industry Conference 2014, was held in the Methven Heritage Centre in May 2014, the venue was full to overflowing but with the way the space worked we managed to keep everyone happy. The staff were great at being flexible and this is always a big plus when working in the regions.
The locals were so great at supporting the change overs for the space and as this was our first time of LIVE STREAMING the event, the technical production was always going to be test, Methven passed with flying colours and looked great to people from across the planet- as we beamed into their living room and offices.
Pack in and pack out was a slick affair too with the spaces absorbing all the sponsors goodies along with the 200+ people.
We were sad to leave for the high country after only two days of enjoying the local scenery and ambiance that Methven offered- we will return.”
The Mt Hutt Function Centre is located within the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, a modern, purpose built facility which is also home to the NZ Alpine & Agriculture Encounter, Hall of Memories, Mt Hutt Memorial Hall Art Gallery, New Zealand Ski Heritage Museum, iHub Methven, Mt Hutt Snow Centre, Methven Travel, and community meeting rooms.
