Lisa was born and raised in Malaysia, drawing with pencils from an early age. Initially working with watercolour, she moved into acrylic and oil. She started more serious painting in 2000 and developed further during periods living in Ireland, New Zealand, and travels through other countries. While proficient in painting a wide range of subjects, her illumination with the beauty of life draws her to paint moments that capture a story. This often involves humans or animals including street scenes. During her travels, she is keen to depict local scenes in popular, well known, or famous locations.
