Susie Millichamp:
Susie is known around Canterbury for her Impressionist watercolour and oil paintings. She also takes classes at the Methven Summer School, the Ashburton Society of Arts and has been teaching at the Drawing Room in Christchurch for the last 5 years. She also takes classes from her Staveley Studio. Researching techniques and painting every day leads to confidence. The answer is to paint what really spins your wheels.

Claire Forbes:
Claire was born and educated in Nelson, she was brought up in a very creative family. Her mother was a recognized botanical artist and her father and step-father were potters, a career she took up upon leaving school. She specialized in oil painting at Nelson Polytechnic and after some more overseas travels she continued painting as well as working on commissions for book illustrations. Claire moved to Timaru in 2004, concentrated on watercolours. Claire’s paintings can also be found at the York Street Gallery in Timary and McAtamney Gallery in Geraldine.
